Staff Reviews

Save me a Seat is a great book that anyone and everyone should read. You should read this book because it tells about something that we do everyday, go to school. And sometimes come from across the world to the U.S. because there are better jobs for your parents than where you were before. This is Ravi's case, he and his family have come from India to the U.S. for better jobs, and Ravi has to go to a new school. This story is about Ravi's first week of school in America, and at first he thinks it's pretty simple, but the week goes from great to horrible and on Friday it goes back to great. I recommend this book highly and you should not miss it, so please read it just for the fun of it.

— From Kids' Picks

Joe and Ravi might be from very different places, but they're both stuck in the same place: SCHOOL.
Joe's lived in the same town all his life, and was doing just fine until his best friends moved away and left him on his own.
Ravi's family just moved to America from India, and he's finding it pretty hard to figure out where he fits in.
Joe and Ravi don't think they have anything in common -- but soon enough they have a common enemy (the biggest bully in their class) and a common mission: to take control of their lives over the course of a single crazy week.
